Before: This is legible, but that’s about it. Dark blue type looks dull surrounded by a goldenrod background. This looks like an esoteric tome, certainly not mainstream.

After: Leonardo’s Vitruvian Man was a natural choice so I enlarged it to make the book’s theme very clear and immediate. The earth in back and the white glow at the solar plexus are central to the book’s content while visually grabbing attention. The yellow-golden color and torn edges suggest discovering something old. The word “REAL” stands out in red capital letters with its own glow to emphasize the book’s premise and to position it against the bestselling “The Da Vinci Code”.
