WELCOME! I have been a professional graphic designer since 1979 and ultimately found my passion for book cover design. I prefer to serve independent publishers, but have worked with Simon & Schuster, Harcourt Brace, Pearson Education, St. Martin’s Press, and designed the covers for three of the Chicken Soup for the Soul books back when the series was just getting started. I estimate that by now I’ve designed more than 1,000 book covers.
John Kremer, the world’s top book marketing consultant (no kidding), asked me to write the chapter about book cover design for 1001 Ways to Market Your Books. I also designed the cover.
